Our 2024 Infrastructure Plan invests in:

→ Safe, affordable housing
→ Clean water

There’s no reason we can’t get it done this session. And there’s no reason both parties can’t be part of it.

At school, students should feel hopeful, inspired, and cared for – not afraid.

Let’s make our schools and communities safer by strengthening requirements for safe storage of firearms, reporting lost and stolen guns, and increasing criminal penalties for straw purchasers.

Let me make this clear: As long as I’m Governor, IVF will continue to offer a lifeline of hope for Minnesota families.

Let me say something personal: Even if you’ve never gone through the hell of infertility, someone you know has.

What those judges in Alabama did was a direct attack on my family. Gwen and I will not forget it. And neither will thousands of other parents across Minnesota.

For some reason, some politicians say it’s not the role of government to make sure kids can eat and learn.

Instead, they’re spending their time, energy, and political capital picking fights with beer companies and librarians.

We’re already seeing real results from our commitment to provide free school breakfast and lunch for every child.

30% more kids are eating breakfast and 11% more are eating lunch than before. Kids going hungry can now focus on their studies with full stomachs.

Most of the time, politics is incremental, frustrating, sometimes gridlocked altogether.

But every once in a while, you get an opportunity to make a whole lot of progress in a short amount of time.

After half a century of waiting and working, it happened in Saint Paul in 2023.
