TCS FLASHBACK: This classic photo showed up on my timeline today ❤️

A couple students in our first period class called me over to a window to see a bird that was inside our school. Our little visitor was able to find his way out a little later 🙂

TCSMS ASTRONOMY: Fun times!

TCSMS ASTRONOMY: We lost half the class to extra music practice but the remaining crew continued cardboard helmet designing…and then there is that one guy who made a tool belt and forearm comms/data center 😃

TCSMS 8G PBL: More progress made today on The Great Marble Maze Challenge. We have “The Disney Experience,” “The Big Wave,” and “The Last Day of the Dinosaurs”

TCS MEDIA: I neglected the maintenance of Book Nook (not the checking out part 🙂) the last two weeks so it was nice to put everything back in its place today 📚

TCS MEDIA: Today’s user centered design activity with fourth graders allowed me to search the archives to pull up some past exemplars to show the kids before we started like this batch from 2016.

TCS MEDIA: We learned about User Centered Design today with fourth graders. Among our creations were a hideout for a werewolf and a remote control for a spy. Kids then presented their products to their small groups and me.

Three kids eat lunch in my classroom daily. Usually they play the piano and chat. Today, they played the piano and made this. 😊

TCS MEDIA: Both of these books were returned today by kids. I love books about libraries and librarians ❤️

TCS MEDIA: Afternoon drop box check in. Such a great selection of books. These kids have good taste! 🙂

TCSMS 6G PBL: We named our two avacado 🥑 seedlings 🌱 today.
