FL groups have appealed decision to uphold voter “wet signature” requirement by a conservative federal judge who has attempted to restrict voting rights, LGBT equality, and reproductive freedom. The DOJ supports plaintiffs’ position.

Vote by Arkansas GOP legislators would “prevent the attorney [for the BOC] from getting paid for his work on behalf of the board as litigation continues.” If that’s a problem, perhaps a half dozen other accomplished trial lawyers can represent the BOC pro bono.
