OIL MARKET: International Energy Agency continues to predict very healthy oil demand growth, with its first forecast for 2025 at 1.1m b/d (vs 1.2m in 2024).

That's, as the IEA points out, 'largely in line with the pre-Covid trend, even amid muted expectations for global economic growth' and more EVs.

OECD stats out for 2023. Some positives - a real overall increase; driven by 🇯🇵 + 🇺🇸.

Still, refugee spend at home still dominant - more spent on that ($31bn) than provided bilaterally to Sub-Saharan Africa ($28bn), or to LDCs ($30bn).
