Ongoing issues with utilita. Unfair charges again successfully removed from account and complaint escalation resulted in compensation for resident.

Benefits payments up by 6.7% today, but still nowhere near enough to live on and, in real terms, £35 per month lower than when the Tories got into power in 2010.

The uprating today basically just brings the standard benefits payment back to where it was in 2021.

Another busy cllr advice session; parking permits chaos (again!), risk of homelessness, debt, de-registration from GP list among things ppl needed help with.

Also I received these from a resident as a thank you for solving her parking permit hell. Unnecessary but appreciated !

The law regarding protection from #redundancy has been updated.
