New Date Announced for Spring Festival in Ponoka

Due to current weather conditions, the new Spring Festival that had originally been planned for May 4 in Ponoka will be rescheduled to Saturday, May 25 at Lions Centennial Park .

Starting this week, the weekly pick up of green carts begins for the season and will continue until November 1, 2024.

Starting today, Wednesday, May 1, the Town of Ponoka Waste Transfer Station will switch to summer hours, which are 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Summer hours will continue until October 31.
