This coming from the person who openly supported an attack on the Traveller community, who are a protected ethnic minority and legally protected under the 2010 Equality Act, from Lee Anderson MP

A vote for reform is a vote for racism.

Romany people have been in Britain for well over 500 years, enduring an equally long campaign of racism and discrimination.

Election season is coming up, and we're likely to once again witness a significant increase in hate stemming from many areas of political life.

I'm thinking of doing some basketmaking tutorials for the GRTHM.scot website - like the ones in the pics as they are a good starter level and they use reed which is easier than willow to work with. Would probably need 5/6 sessions. Would people be interested in that?

In light of the Minceiri Archive going live yesterday, I'm sharing the article I wrote back in 2021. The article is about the importance of our elders and securing their stories while we can.

I know she would be so proud seeing the archive in National Museum of Ireland

In 2020,my granny died before I got to record her stories and life. That year,I came up with the idea of a Traveller oral history archive project. In 2021,with guidance from Rosa Meehan and supports from National Museum of Ireland ,the project became what it is today.

Enjoy our elder's words😊

This has been a problem for generations. I never went on a real holiday until I was married, because it was always in my mind I would be rejected. remember I used to be envious of the 'normal' children who were allowed to go into holiday parks.
