Leigham Vale was very calm/quiet this morning, especially outside Hitherfield Primary school where there’s often a solid line of traffic. We are benefiting from the new Streatham Wells LTN.
Along with the school street & SH LTN, 1000’s of kids now have safer & less polluted streets.
We’ve had 2 blissful weeks of safer pick up and drop offs Rosendale School , while the road has been temporarily closed. Please make this a reality for the pupils here and make a #schoolstreet happen for us! (((Rezina))) 🌹🐝 Claire Holland

Excellent story from Byline Times on how the UK's cities breach legal air quality limits.
And Manchester's air quality is actually getting worse.
Read it and strengthen your resolve to push for more action to tackle air quality, not less as some want.

'Low-traffic neighbourhoods seemingly can prompt residents to drive less, with a study showing people in one London borough cut their driving by nearly a mile a day on average after LTNs were introduced.' #AirQuality #AirPollution #LTNs buff.ly/43L7rQt
Safer Streets for Tulse Hill 🚶🏿♂️👨🏼🦽🤸🏿♀️ Bikeability Lucy G Far too often that is the case. It's so frustrating. If the local council is providing on-street cycle hangars, there is a chance to make a case under #EqualityAct2010 that they should also provide spaces for cycles that #Disabled cyclists use.
What does the evidence on Low Traffic Neighbourhoods really show?
