Day Two
The delegations and implementing partners took to Dhurwale relocation site to discuss with the community about challenges and opportunities of their lives after relocation. Accordingly discussions were held on action plans and gaps for interventions in the site.

UN-Habitat is in Jigjiga briefing the president's office, of the trilateral sister agencies' implementation of Durable solution project for IDPs. The trip is part of a larger high-level delegation site visit.

Today, we held a participatory planning session with IDPs from Qoloji , who will relocate to Goryawol. UN-Habitat ,IoM & FAO, with the generous support of SDC and SIDA, is supporting this relocation process along with intervention in other 9 IDP sites in Somali & Oromia Region.

UN-HABITAT and Ministry of Urban and Infrastructure/Ethiopia updated their Memorandum of Understanding today on World Cities Day!!!

This MoU will further solidify their on going joint ventures to help and guide sustainable urbanization and urban development in Ethiopia.
