Charge d’Affaires David Burger traveled to Halabja to meet with Governor Azad Tofiq and to visit the Halabja Memorial and Museum. The CDA laid a wreath at the Martyr’s Cemetery to commemorate the more than 5,000 Kurdish victims of the 1988 chemical attacks on Halabja.

CDA Burger was pleased to participate in a panel on Iraqi economic reform with DPM Qubad Talabani, GOI Industry Minister Dr. Al-Najm, and banking sector experts at #SuliForum yesterday. They discussed the need for economic diversification, IKR elections, and bank modernization.
