Krugman citing inflation ex-everything is ridiculous.

It's also ridiculous to predict stagflation/hyperinflation since QE1 and declare victory. We had a decade of 2%. Then, we had the biggest fiscal stimulus in US history and all we got was 7% in '21 and 6.5% in '22.

The Fed provides too much transparency.

Send a press release with the action once it's decided on.

They have no idea what to do next because the data can change on a dime. Was the guidance in January 2020 useful? There is no point in speculating publicly about the unknown.
