Last Friday we joined law enforcement around the region for the dedication of the Deputy Justin DeRosier Memorial Highway. Deputy DeRosier was killed in the line of duty April 13, 2019. We are keeping the DeRosier family and the Cowlitz County Sheriff's Office in our thoughts.

VPD and agencies throughout Clark County are continuing to partner with @targetzero_6 for distracted driving patrols. During last week's traffic patrol, officers cited 25 drivers, gave 38 warnings and made 4 arrests. Put the phone down and focus on the road! 🚘️

No, those aren’t dinner plates in the road! VancouverPublicWorks installed Bott’s Dots at several waterfront traffic circles to improve safety and keep drivers in the appropriate lane of travel! Unfortunately, drivers have been skidding through these traffic circles. 😦

Recently, a VPD Officer was following up on a reported DUI driver. When approaching the suspect’s home, they heard a female scream from inside & made exigent entry. The suspect was arrested for Unlawful Imprisonment DV, Assault IV DV, Reckless Endangerment DV & DUI. #vanpoliceusa
