I don't like to blow my own trumpet (to quote Blackadder) but a recent graduate from this has just joined a top agency, after getting offers from A LOT of agents for their debut. Moral of story. If you're looking to write crime, you could do worse than listen to me :) Curtis Brown Creative

Rewatching 1958 Sinbad. Used to watch these as a family. Yes, effects seem woeful now, & all the Arabian characters played by white people, but that was a diff era. Huge nostalgia factor. Also find myself sympathisng with Cyclops. Minding his own business till Sinbad comes along.

I'll allow the lovely reviewers at The People's Friend to tell you why you need a copy of DEATH OF A LESSER GOD: 'Rich with history, and explores justice, corruption, race and identity.'... And it has a white tiger on the cover - for a reason. Read & find out: tinyurl.com/4mcx2cfn

As the Alderney Lit Fest closes, we had a chance to tour the ludicrously beautiful Alderney Island. Made my debut as a professional birdwatcher. Though I'm not sure I've got the binoculars the right way round.

The coziest plane I've ever been on. On the way to Alderney Lit Fest. Flight ended in fog with a couple of circuits back into the clouds and a Die Hard style landing. Next time I'll just swim.
