It's funny that so many comics are built not on telling a satisfying story but this 1001 Nights approach where, to stay alive, you have to trick your readers into thinking there's more story to tell so they don't kill you and that approach translated directly into the MCU

Finished my second playthrough of Horizon Zero Dawn (first on PC). It's insane how good this game is. It also looks incredible. Seven years isn't THAT long in game time, but it's still wild that it stands toe-to-toe with any game coming out today graphically.

For all the genres I listen to, they’re much better now than they were in the 2000s. Pop is CERTAINLY better now than it was then. Same with folk and metal. The biggest change is probably country, which was at an all-time worst in that decade and is only now crawling back

I am such a sucker for the moment in open-world games when the people you helped out in side quests along the way show up at the final battle to help you in turn. It's in Horizon Zero Dawn (finishing replaying that now), Witcher 3, Baldur's Gate 3... That shit gets me every time.

One thing I love about Westerns is that almost all of the great ones have pretty simple plots. You can sum it up in a sentence or two: but that simple plot allows you room to do A LOT with exploring your characters.

Man, even though Fallout 4 is kind of mid, Far Harbor is so good. If felt nothing from F4's main story, but left the significantly shorter DLC campaign reminiscing about the characters I met and grappling with whether or not I made the right choice

The main captain in Babylon 5, Sheridan, enters in the second season. The best character, Marcus Cole, doesn't show up until Season 3.

I just watched Stagecoach this week so I have to let that one sit for a bit, but it'll probably boot off Buster Scruggs for the #10 spot

Never heard of 'Right to Roam' before this thread but it's something I've desperately wish existed all of my life. Hoarding access to natural resources like mountains, lakes and beaches feels so wrong to me on a just instinctive level.
