Ballgame. Sox lose all four in Minnesota, the last by a 6-3 score. Sox pitchers gave up five homers. They go 0-7 and get outscored 49-18 on a road trip through Philly and Minny.

They’re 3-22.

Steven Wilson gives up solo homers to Carlos Santana and José Miranda. Sox pitchers have given up five of those today. South Siders down 6-2 in the eighth.

Eloy Jiménez and Robbie Grossman with a single and a walk to put the first two on in the eighth. But Andrew Vaughn and a pinch-hitting Andrew Benintendi struck out ahead of Paul DeJong’s inning-ending ground out. Sox still down 4-2 late.

Eduoard Julien hits his second homer of the day, this one off John Brebbia to spot the Twins a late-inning insurance run. Sox down 4-2 in the seventh.

Soroka hasn’t been the most efficient this season, but he has been today. He’s below 50 pitches through four scoreless innings. Very nice day for him so far.

Soroka makes quick work of the Twins in a breezy second inning, with an assist from Korey Lee, who made a nice sliding catch on a foul pop-up.

Michael Soroka walked the first batter he faced and gave up a two-out single three batters later. Nicky Lopez with a nice defensive play, snagging a liner to save a run and end the inning.

Sox go down 1-2-3 with a pair of strikeouts in the first. They’re playing ball in the Land of 10,000 Lakes.

Pedro Grifol said Clevinger is set for roughly 4 IP, 60 pitches. He would likely bump up to 5 IP, 75 pitches in his next outing, and then would conceivably be ready for Chicago.
