On Saturday, April 20, WCU will hold the 40th annual Tuck River Cleanup. Registration will take place by the Alumni Tower. Volunteers must register on the day of the event from 9-11 a.m. Registration will be limited to about 500 volunteers.

This year, WCU will view 85% of totality with the eclipse beginning at 1:49 p.m., peaking around 3. The Catamount Astronomy Club plans to distribute ISO-safe eclipse glasses around the Catafount area.

Beginning a rainy Saturday, the Pride of the Mountains Marching Band toured the Book of Kells and The Long Room at Trinity College. They ended the evening with dinner and a private show of traditional Irish music at Taylors Three Rock.

On day 4 of the trip, Pride of the Mountains journeyed from Dublin down to
Kilkenny where they put on an energetic performance for a crowd of visitors and local school children. They also toured Kilkenny Castle and explored the shops around the city.
