U13 Girls football team made it to the 1/4 final of the National cup.
WGS took an early lead & a great game followed. WGS had best chances but restricted by outstanding goalkeeping.
They kept their composure, worked incredibly hard in the sun to take the win. Congratulations!

Well done to the 12 boys who competed in yesterdays ‘Play your way to Wimbledon’ tournament. Played 6 games each, first 4 boys have qualified for the KS3 finals joining top 4 players from the year 8 and 9 heats.

Solomon theatre come in to perform ‘ Last orders’ to yr 8. A play about the dangers of alcohol. They delivered a workshop, students discussed the law & understood what a unit of alcohol looked like.
Praise from yr8: ‘That was really good’ and ‘ It was really interesting’.

We are delighted to say that there were some fantastic achievements for our Year 11 students today: 84.9% achieved a grade 4 or more in English, 79.9% in Maths, and 71.4% achieved 5 GCSEs at grade 4 including English and Maths, which is our BEST EVER RESULT!
