A treat to have such competitive fixtures with Westminster School’s near neighbours from St Paul's School. U15s went Westminster’s way with a crucial last-wicket stand between Shaurya (34*) & Leo, and wickets for Vivaan (3-14). Honours to the Paulines in the U14s in spite of Max’s 4 wickets.

There was a low-scoring thriller between the Westminster School 1st XI and a powerful MCC side. Some excellent bowling by Jamie, followed by an impressive 50 from Aidan H. and then a defiant 10th wicket stand saw the pupils come up just short. Nonetheless, a fantastic game and a great day!
The cold and the rain could not dampen spirits at the Westminster School annual Athletics Sports day in Battersea Park. In the overall team event, Grant’s were third behind Rigaud’s in second, but it was Busby’s who maintained their stranglehold winning the title for the 6th year in a row.
Excellent performance by the Westminster School U17 XI v Ibstock Place in the Cricket Paper National Cup. A fine hundred by Arran, well supported by 50s from the two Aidans, and an able bowling & fielding effort led by 3 wickets to Jamie. Many thanks to Ibstock Place School Sport for coming over to us.
The return of cricket matches to Vincent Square with the Westminster School 1st XI against the Old Westminsters for the Jim Cogan Cup. Victory for the School with excellent bowling from Xander (3-11), Arran, Rohil & Nirvan, followed by a fine unbroken partnership between Jai & Arran (37*).
More OW sporting success - Fives this time - as Riki H & Hugo Y win the 2024 Kinnaird Cup, having been runners-up in 2023. They are the 1st Old Westminster pair in the competition’s 90 year history to win this prestigious event. All Westminster School are hugely proud of their achievement.
Fantastic effort by Old Westminster, Alec B to finish runner-up in the Junior Men’s Epee World Fencing Championships in Riyadh. Missing out on gold by the barest of margins, 15-14 in the final but everyone Westminster School is still immensely proud of him and his outstanding success.

“A good old’un always beats a good young’un” is proved correct this time as the might of the Common Room beat the Leavers 2-1 in the annual finale to the Westminster School Football season. No finer way to finish the term and move into the holidays!
“A good old’un always beats a good young’un” disproved as a youthful Westminster School Golf team defeated its Old Westminster counterparts by 2.5-1.5 on a beautiful, spring afternoon at the Royal Mid-Surrey Golf Club. Great fun had by all. Floreat!
