Definitely in my re-read list. While it can get quite repetitive, he explains how to view your anger and any emotions as an organic part of you, how to embrace them and use mindfulness to counter those emotions.
There were times when I think about putting my phone away for a bit and just disconnect from the world a bit. This book helps me when I do that and how it’s important to have that break once in a while for our clarity and creativity.
This book is more about how to take control of the distraction and make it into something that will benefit you and make you more present in the moment. I’d recommend another book by him called “Hooked”.
Not everything in this book resonated with me. She did talk about love that’s healing and it can come in many forms but love and abuse can’t exist at the same time.
It’s an easy read and it’s good for those who needs a little motivation for self empowerment. They are short poems that targets on self love, understanding, union and more.
This book mostly entails more about emotions and the factors. I wanted a better understanding of what depression is like and while I never believe a book to be fully accurate, it’s certainly packed w a lot of informations.
