We have had a wonderful day in Pimlico in Westminster, and would love to tell you about it.

Pimlico is famed for the council’s clever and pioneering work reducing through- traffic in local neighbourhoods in the late 60’s and early 70’s, and we’ve been exploring today … 🧵1/12

Connaught Street would rival any London High Street if it weren’t a highway/parking lot combo. Incredible location and architectural charm.

Instead, we’ve lost two local institutions this year and many shops sit empty 😞

Pedestrianise Soho.

Insane that we prioritise private cars over the much more numerous human beings that don’t even fit on the pavement, who are being beeped and revved out of the way in the road.

The 🚲 lane on the Embankment carries millions each year, connecting to City of London now fantastic streets and beyond. A huge thank you to all who have worked so hard to make this possible ! Change is possible !
