Nights like tonight remind us why the regular season matters. Heat didn’t even need to even be playing this game with another win or two during the season.

Since I see a bunch of people asking, Spo could not have challenged the non-foul call on the shove. He only could have challenged if it was a backcourt violation, which I believe it was (because of the shove).

Deja Vu for the Heat. Like last season, a second play-in game for Miami. They’ll host Atlanta-Chicago winner on Friday night at the Kaseya Center in a win or go home game.

I’m not sure why Heat are setting up a 3 there. Like so many times this season, lack of simple offensive execution late is killing them.
