Women's Royal Naval Service ( #Wrens ) radio mechanics testing the radio on #Lysander 6W-U of 755 Squadron #FleetAirArm . Wrens didn't serve as pilots but they did work with the aircraft of the #FAA & flew to test the equipment.

Bergen- #Belsen Concentration Camp was liberated on 15th April 1945. Painter Dorris Zinkeisen was the first #artist to enter & painted a number of pictures to capture what was discovered. Here's some more info about her from British Red Cross 🧡
