Twitter Web App : Specialist frontline services for BAME communities and migrant women are also few and far between. The ‘no recourse to public funds’ rule can also be a major barrier for migrant women trying to escape abuse and access support. 2/2 #16Days

Twitter Web App : Women from BAME communities may be more susceptible to particular forms of abuse like forced marriage or FGM. They are likely to face additional barriers to receiving the help they need & stay longer in those abusive relationships due to the barriers associated with leaving. 1/2
