Rail Story at Ingrow

Today, a two-train service runs along the Worth Valley, which is perfect for exploring the railway and local area. The first train departs at 10:00 from Oxenhope Station.

The next Dining Train is on Saturday, May 25th. It includes Yorkshire Antipasto and The Stokers Lunch, £35.00 for the Restaurant Car, and £40.00 for the Pullman Car. The ticket also includes a Day Rover, so you can spend the day riding the railway!

Haworth Workshop & Shed Tours

The regular Saturday guided tours of Haworth are back today. They meet at the Booking Hall at Haworth Station at 11:15, 1255, and 1450. Tours cost £5.00 or are free for members and can be booked at any booking office.

78022 BR Standard 2 will be in service this weekend, hauling the steam train along the Worth Valley. 37075 will be hauling trains on Saturday too, and DMU Class 101 will be hauling trains on Sunday.

A new addition to the bars, with 'Festival Pilsner' being stocked!

Tomorrow morning, 37075 BR Class 37 will haul the 'Diesel & Ale' Train, which departs Haworth at 09:16 and makes five round trips. The train will convey the 'Jubilee Bar', with three beers on the hand-pulled pumps and the well-stocked bar.

There is a hint of a Western Theme continuing from The Steam Gala, with two class 50s and a class 14 taking part in this year's Diesel Gala. It is the first time a Class 69 has visited the KWVR!

🚂 Throwback Thursday 🚂

Not long before being withdrawn from service, 90733 moved into the run-round headshunt at Oxenhope. It would be 31 years before 90733 returned to service, rebuilt to as-built form with all Swedish modifications removed.
