Update on World Relays: a couple of Nigerian athletes got their transit visas from the US embassy on Monday. There are still those who haven't gotten their visas yet as at this moment. Those who already have visas, will depart tonight for Bahamas from Abuja.

I have been to 27 states in Nigeria, if there's something I take so much pride in, it's the fact that I know so many major roads in the country. Reading PO's thread brought me down to earth, I don't even know half of these roads he has mentioned, and they are all in Nigeria.

I understand the Nigerian team travelling from home to Bahamas, have visa appointments at the US embassy on Wednesday. Some of them have used the dropbox visa renewal option to try and secure visas, and then transit to Bahamas. Those in the US will link up with them there.

I've been able to get half of the money back from GTBank, while the other half is in blocked funds, and that I should get it after 8days (or so I was made to understand). Thanks to everyone who lent a voice, and to Guaranty Trust Bank Help for escalating it. Country hard die abeg 😌

Exclusive: LSU head coach, Dennis Shaver has been contacted by Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN), and would likely be in Bahamas to help Nigerian Relay teams at the World Relays. He's going to work with Nigerian coaches, and he's coming to Nassau with some LSU Naija athletes.

Enoch Adegoke made it to the 100m final in Tokyo, not many thought he would have gone that far. In 2004 when Francis Obikwelu won Silver in Athens, I am not sure many people picked him as potential medallist before the Games, but he did it. Ashe can finish on the podium in Paris.

In the last two years, Favour Ashe has only run a legal sub 10s, once in a season. In 2024, he has already done it twice in the two 100m races he has competed in. This guy has something great for us this season, and yes he is a potential 100m medallist in Paris.
