Named for Adam Lambert, a brave Marine from Adel who tragically lost his life to suicide, my bipartisan legislation being considered for a vote this week will ensure every veteran has access to critical resources to support their transition to civilian life.

Last week, I presented Navy veteran, David Schachtner, his long overdue medals for his service in the Vietnam War. Very little is more important than supporting veterans who bravely served this country.

The 7th-grade students at Winterset Junior High School have been learning from veterans across our community about the importance of service to our country. I stopped by last week to share more about my experiences serving in the Air Force and my new mission in D.C.

Earlier this week, I had the honor of presenting a Vietnam Veteran with medals he earned while serving our country - but had never received. My #1 mission in Congress is to ensure our veterans are honored and have access to all the benefits they have earned. 🇺🇸
