Updates on the Crater Hill Fire and what you can do to prevent wildfires this summer.

National Park Service wildland firefighters and partners are responding to a lightning caused wildfire in the southwestern part of the park.

We can't stop lightning, but we can prevent human caused wildfire. Use #FireSense during travels this summer!

Are you ready to visit Zion this Memorial Day Weekend?

Know before you go:
-Expect heavy traffic
-Vehicle entrances may temporarily close
-The Narrows are closed to hikers due to high water
-Road damage prevents driving on part of Kolob Canyons Rd

National Park Service maintenance staff are plowing snow on Zion Canyon Scenic Drive.

Zion Canyon Line shuttle service will resume when plowing is complete.

Due to rocks on road, visitors cannot go past Kolob Canyons Visitor Center. This includes drivers, hikers, and cyclists.

Zion-Mt. Carmel Hwy and Zion Cnyn Scenic Dr (where shuttles go) are not affected.
