I am frequently asked WHAT I eat on a daily basis

I fast at least 16hrs/day

I break my fast around 11am-12pm

I focus on beef, pork, bison, eggs, salmon, shrimp

I add healthy fats: avocado, ghee/butter, macadamia nuts

I occ consume: sweet potato, squash, but RARELY

My entire adult life, I was made fun of bc I never liked to drink alcohol

Growing up with an alcoholic parent taught me the ugly side of this drug

it is so empowering that each time I tweet about my choice to abstain from drinking alcohol the outpouring of support is amazing

When people are using lifestyle strategies to recover from chronic metabolic and mental health conditions, it takes time.

It's not a quick fix.

There will be setbacks along the way.

We shouldn't be deterred by this.

We should expect it and encourage people to keep going!
