When you walk in the door and at that *precise* moment the power goes out.

Ok, time to pause in the quiet and listen to the rain, I suppose. Kinda nice, actually.

We can become so cerebral in our approach to life, maybe for decades, that waking up and engaging with the world and our own humanness can feel a bit awkward.

It’s like a second adolescence. Except this time, you feel the weight and finiteness of it all much more deeply.
