Replacing the thought loop of “what should I do?” with “how do I want to express my love?”

I started realizing this about people who disliked me right off the bat and then ended up ‘loving’ me later. Their immediate judgement of me showed me the friendship would never be real- you just got used to and eventually gained something from my presence.

I always find that people who actually like themselves often don’t have the time to pass unnecessary judgment on others bc they’re too busy living fulfilling lives

I love the way my friends view me. I love that my mistakes don’t dictate my character in their eyes. I love that they make me feel safe and welcome to be me. I’m so blessed for my communities.

The best psychotherapy is developmental, not corrective

The best but most subtle feeling is realizing that you actually really don’t care, when at one point you did so much. Embrace that and lean into what feels beautiful and right.

The truest thing I’ve learned in dating thus far is that generous people should only date other generous people. And true generosity as a trait isnt about just material items (tho that’s important too). Its taking accountability, forgiving, giving of time, being honest&vulnerable

Competency in navigating emotions is a very rare thing. It’s not something we were taught. There’s no shame in acknowledging the struggle in navigating certain emotions.

The trick is to be so confident and smooth in your craft that you no longer have to speak on it. Others just feel it as it comes up organically.
