What's next?

I'm not raising any money tomorrow when I run the Manchester Marathon, but Jim is.

He's worked really hard to fit in training around leading a school.

My dad had Parkinson's and despite the shakes, poor memory and constant falls, he just charged on with life. Determined to not let it get in his way, he'd solo travel, explore, and live life fully.

Well, Haworth was absolutely lovely today despite the rain. I did a little solo hike following the Bronte Pilgrimage. A nice 10k up to the waterfall.

Yesterday, I was duped.

Sister: go to mum's and sort her medication. She's run out and her blood pressure is high.

Me: okay, I'll go now.

Me: Hi mum, how's your BP?

Mum: Oh, it's fine. Gone back down now. As you're here, would you mind painting my entire kitchen?

It's refreshing to find voices as honest, thoughtful, warm, and balanced as Tom's in this blog.
