During the last 6 miles yesterday

I had a couple moments of emotion

Tears in my eyes as I was cruising through the last few miles

My body is different
My mind is different
My spirit is different (I have His!)

Helped me pace the beginning and crush the second half today!

If you want to learn anything about endurance training, hire this guy and tribal

Sadly my sister had to bow out of the Marathon due to bronchitis and asthma

So w/ my sons soccer game being at 11 today, adjustments were made

But still getting a race in!

But if you told me I’d be where I am today

I went to the Mariners game with a good friend

On the way there I was spending time with/ Jesus through the Pause App (highly recommend)

I heard Him say:

365 lb. Deadlift 1RM
305 lb. Squat 1RM
175 lb. Strict press Overhead 1RM

I’m no powerlifter, but from where I was to where I am today

My son called me this morning

We played shoots and ladders over the phone

At one point during it

True, full, non-circumstantial joy/steadfastness can only happen w/ Jesus

Circumstantial happiness/good feelings etc. we all experience (it’s how He created us, whether we believe in Him or not) but it will always come and go

But stillness and steadfastness during trials and…
