Hey Monash City Council I visited Brickmaker's Park today and it's lovely... but it was empty.

12:30pm on a Saturday and I'm not seeing crowds demanding another nearby park, justifying the closure of Oakleigh Golf Course.

The first tee atm Oakleigh Golf Course 6 getting ready to play 5 of them Women Oakleigh has more women than the elite private clubs in Monash City Council yet they are looking to close it down
It's the poor old female disabled & juniors that will lose not rich white men

If anyone needs proof that a short course is important in golf then Meet Rob who comes with his carer every week to Oakleigh Golf Course there is plenty of golf for serious players in Monash City Council but only 1 nursery to nursing home course it's people like Rob who stands to lose 1/2

For me it missed one massive point the course isn't really about the members it's about all the casual users who can play when they want just by paying a cheap greenfee no commitment needed
Also the amount of people who have mobility issues
