Modes of consultation and access to GPs are being hotly debated at the moment. There is no doubt that many patients feel that their needs are not being met, and many colleagues are struggling to cope with demand, feeling exhausted and under attack. Why?

Why don't we pay the HGV drivers less, stop them working part time, and drag them off the golf course?

It can't be an issue with demand or supply.
