Sad to hear this morning that Harry Howarth, 2KSLI, D-Day veteran has passed away aged 103 years old.

I’m happy that 7 weeks ago he was able to return to visit his Major for the first time in nearly 80 years.

This is what happens without policing. You don't need cops to have a situation escalate. The problem is criminals with guns. In this case the victim also had a gun, so he shot at the suspect (and the fleeing car), and got shot and may die.
