Yesterday, my legislation HB984 the Public Employee Relations Act was signed into law by .Gov. Wes Moore. I was thrilled to join so many great advocates from AFSCME Maryland Council 3 and Maryland Educators in getting this legislation passed.

Union workers earn more. Period.

AFSCME leaders at the University System of Maryland bargained today at Bowie State for a fair first master contract.

Employees from Maryland universities lobbied their state representatives Monday at the Maryland General Assembly in Annapolis for several state bills regarding workers’ rights.
