Minishoot Adventures is a new indie game that asks 'what if a classic 2D Zelda controlled like Geometry Wars' and it completely kicks ass. Steam only for now but I hope it comes to other platforms soon. And made entirely by a two person dev team!

Play it!

I think my two most significant lasting memories of Bioshock Infinite are the weird flat fruits all over the game and also hearing somebody at work talk about the ending before I finished it and me yelling β€œdude shut up with the spoilers” and turning around and it was Ken Levine.

He's right. I dig a lot of what places like Alamo Drafthouse are doing but having waiters scurry around taking food and drink orders during the whole movie is distracting as hell. Feels like a damn Applebees in there.

Fascinating piece. Most people are playing the same handful of games as a service games every day instead of playing a bunch of different things.

Makes me wonder what video game criticism, discourse, journalism, & general fandom will look like in 10-15 years. Probably not great.

I figured giant movie studios would be racing to embrace this AI generated slop but it’s *such* a bummer to see an indie horror movie with a great premise, cast, and otherwise fantastic production design go this route.

Pay a human artist to make your art. This is such a letdown.

My 5 year old has been counting down the days until this game is out for a full month now. She wakes up every morning and draws an X on each day on the calendar and announces how many days are left. She's watched my hands-on video preview 20 times. Gonna be a big hit in our home.

I'm getting absolutely giddy about seeing a brand new, violent as hell Alien movie in theaters this summer. Cannot wait for this.

One of the many reasons I adored this movie was that a bunch of it looked like a β€˜90s point and click adventure game with the most obtuse puzzles you’ve ever played in your life.

Really enjoyed The Academy Awards this year. Some awards I definitely didn't agree with (I liked Killers way more than Oppenheimer, thought Lily should've won best actress etc) but the overall show was funny, entertaining, and well produced. Good stuff. Glad I watched it.

Had this happen on a flight from Frankfurt to San Francisco once. Eleven hours, whole row to myself. Stewardess came by with lunch and then did another lap and gave everyone a second lunch because the plane was so empty. I ate like a king and slept like a baby. I touched heaven.

I did this to pre-order the Nintendo Wii. Not even to get the actual console, just to get a receipt that proved I could get the console when it launched weeks later. Sat in a folding chair for five hours on a freezing wet night in New Jersey for a piece of paper. Worth it.

I’ll never know what it was like to see The Empire Strikes Back when it first opened in theaters but I imagine Dune 2 comes close. A staggering leap forward from what came before it while also feeling significantly more personal. Brilliant, huge, revolutionary sci-fi. Fuck yes.

Can’t speak for all of you but I will literally never buy anything from a Twitter ad ever. Nothing on earth will ever compel to watch an ad on this website, reach for my credit card, hand over my info, and purchase a product. Not happening. They really should just stop trying.
