The best time to cut back invasive trees and grow native food trees is NOW!

Invasive species like kiawe exacerbate erosion and take up acres of land that was once used to feed our communities.

Our goal is to grow out a food forest here at Keawanui Cultural Learning Center.

Decades of water diversion, greed, and land mismanagement by companies like West Maui Land set the stage for this disaster. Maui's centuries-long battle over water has reached another critical moment. We need people like Kaleo Manuel in this position.

Despite everything that’s happened, kānaka and locals have led recovery efforts and support to those displaced by the Maui Wildfires more than the national guard, federal emergency agencies and local government.
