Prof Bob Davis Esmé Partridge Alexander JB Hampton🦉 Agreed! _Christian Platonism_ is without question one of the most impressive anthologies of critical work published in recent years. I routinely refer my students to it.
Esmé Partridge I take it you know this splendid book, Esmé? Alexander JB Hampton🦉 (if you’ll both excuse the tagging) does *such* indispensable work in these & related areas (including his latest collection on Jacobi, which I have just started)
How marvellous to see a panel on 'The Recovery of Participatory Metaphysics' at American Academy of Religion this coming November, thanks to AAR Platonism and Neoplatonism Unit and the leadership of Alexander JB Hampton🦉. The return to Christian Platonism by many Protestants is a phenomenon particularly worthy of attention.
Happy #BurnsNight , everyone!
My heart's in the Highlands, my heart is not here,
My heart's in the Highlands, a-chasing the deer;
Chasing the wild-deer, and following the roe,
My heart's in the Highlands, wherever I go.
