A strong front arrives today with a slight chance of a storm near Tulsa but higher chances across eastern and southeastern OK this afternoon. Temps will drop from the 80s into the 50s by this evening with strong north winds. Cooler weather remains Friday. News On 6

Later tonight, we'll be watching along the OK-KS state line region. If a storm pops, it would be severe.

A big warm-up is expected before our Thursday cold front arrives. This front brings a few scattered storms for a few locations. A layer of warm air aloft (the cap) may be present. Cooler weather follows Friday into the weekend with some showers near or south Saturday. News On 6

Still watching for a few storms attempting to flare-up across far NE OK and points eastward, including a mention of strong to severe possibilities. This is the current severe weather outlook for the morning hours. The layer of warm-air aloft may contiue to supress activity.

A pacific front arrives early this morning taking shower-storm chances out of the area. Strong southwest winds will follow with sunshine and highs in the 80s. Dry air will arrive with increasing fire spread rates during the afternoon. News On 6
