Anyway here’s a progress pic of two pieces I’m working on. Social media can be a chore.

Need to go to bed, but here’s my current wip. Sooomebody went to a Victor Vasarely exhibit earlier today and needed to get some ideas out of their system. Probably finish tomorrow.

So this is the year if the blue dragon. Turns out the element associated with this year is not ‘water’ but ‘wood’ - blue is here for the association with the cardinal direction East. Anyway, have a WIP of the Azure Dragon and the Two Trees of Valinor.

Anyway, it’s been ages since I’ve done a pencil drawing of any size. Thinking whether i want to do a few more or bounce to another medium.

Thought I’d share a recent painting. Started it before QE2 passed. Guess my timing is off. Next one up will have Charles. Wonder if I can get that one done in time.

Update. Need to get a better brush for working with details.

My first completed acrylic piece. I miss oils, but I have to learn to like acrylics, at least in the short term. Feels good to get back into abstract work. ^^
