John Swinney and Nicola Sturgeon drove the bid for Freeports. They are just as culpable for the sell out of our land & resources.

This could very well be true. Alternatively, they could both be the establishment candidates and it's all just political theatre designed to create more division. Either way, it's hard to see how it much matters.

I don't share Kate Forbes' views on many social issues. But I'm also fed up to my back teeth with Scottish politics being dominated by exactly these Moral Maze questions.
If she represents a shift back to prioritising the economy, jobs, NHS, education etc. then I say: 'Hurrah!'

People like me have been highlighting how ordinary members have lost any say over their political party. Depressing to see it attempted again as the clique rush to set John Swinney up for non contested re adjustment. Wise up, how many times?

Well, I guess it’s clear who the Westminster candidate for SNP leader is. There are obviously banks of paid bots doing their anti-Forbes thing right now and I suspect it will only get worse.

When I had that top administrator, come see me about all the problems, she acknowledged everything, apologized, and promised it wouldn’t happen again. I now believe her thought process was, “If we give him some fruit, maybe he’ll shut up”. Nothing changed. 🌱☯️🖕

I think she's DESPERATE not to run, but the party establishment is busting a gut to goad her into it, helped by their tame hacks, because the only thing better than Volkssturm John taking all the flak for an election gubbing is Forbes doing it.

If Kate Forbes is going to stand, what's stopping her? She already knows that around half the membership is willing to vote for her. All the other contenders are running for the hills as fast as their legs will carry them. If not now, when is the time?
