There may be no tuition fees in Scotland but there is a cap on student numbers. HE funding is unfair & unsustainable & needs a better balance between individual graduates & taxpayers.

There are simply no adequate words to express how incredible & mesmerising Sarah Snook is in The Picture of Dorian Gray The Picture of Dorian Gray Theatre Royal Haymkt. The entire production is a tour de force. We were in the upper circle with “restricted view” but saw it all. Amazing ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

While the best theatre tickets can certainly be very expensive, there are still cheaper seats. In London this weekend and saw the brilliant Plaza Suite last night - £55 each (clear, if high view). Tonight seeing Dorian Gray, restricted view £50 each.

As a widow, and a Scottish one at that, I have no problem with the word.
Talking about death & dying can still be taboo and this doesn’t help. We need far more open conversation about death to help support the bereaved, as well as ensure we’re all prepared for the inevitable.
