We just released the results from our latest poll with Change Research on young persuadable voters in battleground states.

The #1 issue for young voters is systemic racism and discrimination.

Young people are fed up with generations of inaction and are looking for a candidate to put forth bold solutions. Joe Biden still has a lot of work to do to appeal to young voters—especially Gen Z.

We also polled young voters in battleground states about their concerns due to coronavirus. The top reported concern was their parents' health.

Coronavirus is affecting young people differently across racial groups. Young Black and Latinx voters are significantly more concerned about economic stressors and their health respective to young white voters.

We also found that young Black and Latinx voters think in-person voting is more secure than voting by mail—a reminder that we must educate young people of color about voting by mail and the need to expand polling places and early vote to keep voting safe and accessible.

43% of young, persuadable voters say they have NOT been contacted by the Democratic Party or Joe Biden's presidential campaign. Young people must be invested in if we want to win in November.

Also, young voters report seeing digital ads from the Republican Party or Trump campaign at the same rate as the Democratic Party or Biden campaign.
