Due to stigma, lack of confidentiality and fear. ‘If you build it they will come’ ->32000 patients later, you’ve got better & most returned to work, safely. Many tell us we saved your lives. You tell us this publicly and privately & >90% say they would recommend our service.

There is no ‘backstory’ to ending of 2/care NHS Practitioner Health other than (we’re told) - no budget. To remind, it was established following suicide of a psychiatry who also killed her baby and highlighted the barriers doctors have in accessing mental health care.

Doctors should know that Healthcare Workers' Foundation 💙 do amazing work, as do Doctors In Distress, Laura Hyde Foundation and other brilliant charities. But Practitioner Health was the bedrock of support for struggling staff and there is simply not the capacity to do without it.

Exactly this. THIS WILL KILL PEOPLE.
