Hugh Bailey CT Insider Maybe they bike to work but those bikes would have to have been made by a polluter who made a profit and, well, we certainly can't have that.

Hugh Bailey CT Insider It would be tremendously helpful if environmental advocates such as Save the Sound would proactively step up and counter 'local opponents loudly and vaguely citing environmental harms.'

'We are on the verge of doing nothing to create more affordable housing for the second year in a row, again, in the middle of a housing crisis. This is unfathomable.'

This is absurd logic. If I said, 'well, some neighborhoods don't want the fire hydrants, and we don't want to dictate,' you'd correctly call me an idiot. We are in a housing crisis, and we're letting a vocal minority of homeowners scuttle any effort to fix that.

At this point these programs are more about full employment for lawyers and planners than they are about housing.
