Every bit of Tailscale traffic is encrypted and authenticated—but your browser doesn't know that. With HTTPS certs now Generally Available, devices serving web content can look the part with a shiny lock icon tailscale.com/kb/1153/enabli…

I can't believe how good Tailscale is. I managed to get SSH, Kubernetes API and Apple Remote Desktop working over internet from MacBook to MacStudio at home without writing a single config file nor paying for a Cloud VM. SSH is also working from iPhone 🤯

Jay-sun? Easy way to get data plane control over SaaS apps without needing to deploy full traditional VPN. Basically gives you instant session revocation without the target app needing to support it (so long as you can make the app only allow access from the connector).

Am back from the local tap-room, having had some delicious beers.
And, of course now is the exact right time+moment to exploit my Balmer Curve, to attempt to install Tailscale within the Jenkins jail on my NAS, so that it can communicate with my DO droplets because of $reasons.

I decided on a small side project. Going to build a small tracked rover specifically for testing MQTT / gstreamer video tele-op driving over cellular using Tailscale. I already have all the stuff, just need to print the rover parts.

We've added a bunch more ABAC to Tailscale, making it easier to use third-party data as part of network policy. You can also use this on your squad tailnet to give special access to secret things just to your friends running OpenBSD.

Epic goalpost moving continues to be epic.

Sure, it advanced the state of mathematics, unlike almost any human on earth. But like, it had collaborators. And the problem wasn’t even famous
