I had a great time in College Station yesterday! Started at the Brazos County Democratic Party office on a Zoom with Fayette County Dems and then handed out 500 solar eclipse glasses with Texas Aggie Democrats on campus.

Spending time with Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli and surprise, surprise Gandalf sporting some new linen after returning from the dead. Stopped by Edoras and now on our way to Helms Deep in chapters 5 and 6 of book 1 of THE TWO TOWERS!

Sometimes you’re in a situation where you’ve spent way too much time and you are in too deep to just give up and let it go, you feel you have no choice but to wait it out…

Its been months since i last posted about my #WalktoMordor but with chapters 3 and 4 of book 1 of THE TWO TOWERS I’m back with Merry and Pippin, escaping from the Uruk-hai, hanging with Treebeard and Quickbeam, and drinking as much Ent-draughts as i possibly can.

Setting my alarm clock back an hour at 1AM instead of 2AM because I’m a rebel, not afraid to challenge the expected norms of society.
Also I want go to bed a little earlier than 2AM tonight.
