On #Halloween night, as kids chant 'trick or treat,' in NASA's NBL, spacewalk training's the eerie feat. 👻

I wanted to express my gratitude to everyone who has been a significant part of my journey to this day. It is something that I’ve dreamt about my entire life, and I’m excited to share this new adventure with Canadians.

Yesterday was such a big day! It is an honour to back up Jeremy Hansen on the #Artemis II mission. I can’t wait to work on defining and developing the procedures and architecture required for humanity’s return to the Moon. Learn a bit more about me:

In the terrains of Arizona, USA, we dove into practical geology training.
In addition to drawing geological maps, studying volcanoes and utilising scientific field instruments, we also did theoretical training, learning more about the surface of planets and their weather 🪨🔎

What our astronaut candidates' wilderness leadership trip can teach us all:

Did a space suit glove fit in the vacuum chamber last week. The suit engineers and suit technicians do an incredible job to get to a great fit. Awesome team effort as I take the first steps towards training for spacewalks!
