Focusing to fight means we must also embrace the pain that we feel. The disappointment, the letdown, the feelings of abandonment, or feeling like, really? It’s okay. You can handle it. You’ve got to embrace the pain, lean into it, and keep going.

I started a senior wall in my classroom. One of my favorite teachers, Mr. Gibbs had one. I remember students would write “reserved for” on his wall. What a great tradition.

Mrs. O gifted this to me when I was a senior at IHS. This book went with me to SDSU, ICOE, and now has made its way back to IUSD. FULL CIRCLE! ⭕️ Teachers are more than just teachers. How blessed was I to have amazing mentors, teachers, and coaches. #tigerpride
